Our rambling Rovers have an an incredibly busy few months kicking off the 2024/25 year with a bang. They've been busy mosaicing, hiking, pooling, swimming, and welcoming new Rovers to the Crew. To top it all, over 30 Rovers and young (at heart) leaders went Magical Mystery Touring to Edinburgh in September, where the location was a complete secret until they were at the airport! We're looking forward to seeing where this scouting year will take our Rovers next! #alltheredties

The new Scouting year has started off with a splash in Donnybrook as we held our first Group event over the weekend; our Link Ceremony and activity day. A cold wet day didn't dampen spirits as our Linkers joined their new sections for a hike in Djouce Woods, all in preparation for Moving Mountains at Snowdon 2025! We also got to surprise our Group Leader Laura with her 10 year's service, as well as award a Commendation of Merit to Emily Breathnach for her service at National level. Here's to the adventures this year will bring!

Our final Summer Camp of the season, Viking Cub Pack definitely got the better deal in terms of weather at Fota but also had a cracking time on Spike Island, Ballyhass, in Cork City and of course, the Wildlife Park! #alltheredties

First up were Celt Cubs who had a week where we hear they woke up to lions roaring, lit lots of fires, had excellent day trips to Ballyhass and Cobh, and much more fun in between... well done all!! #alltheredties
